American Metal Group has started work on an expansion to house the control cabinets and motors for an induction heat treating line. Finished bar will be heated and quenched, improving the bars impact resistance and increasing the strength. In addition to quenching and tempering, we will have the capability to stress relieve, thru harden, and surface harden.
